Each spring many local and statewide groups sponsor a book sale where parents can sell their old curriculum and get great deals on the next year’s curriculum. Some sales are part of larger conventions or fairs. Every event is different.

Spring Book Sale
April 11-14, 2012
The largest used book sale in Wisconsin will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Memorial Library in room 116. The sale includes more than 15,000 books covering a wide range of subjects.
The sale is free (except the preview sale) and open to the public.
The semiannual sale, organized by the Friends of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Library, helps to support the Friends and the Libraries. Among other things, the sales help fund an annual lecture series and other special events, special purchases for the library collections, preservation of special materials, and grants for a visiting scholar support program.
Nearly 60 volunteers coordinate the event that draws students, faculty and visitors from around the Midwest. Books for the sale are donated primarily by University of Wisconsin faculty, staff, students, and Madison-area residents. Donations for upcoming sales are accepted on a continual basis. The Northland CORE used book and curriculum sale is in the process of being organized to be held at Hermantown Community Chruch on Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A 4×4 table will be $10; 8-foot tables are $15. This money goes to the church for the use of their space. Coffee and treats will be available. It should be a fun day! More details to come. Info here.

Reedsburg Library Book Sale
Reedsburg Library will be holding a fundraising sale of
thousands of adult and children fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback.
Funds raised will benefit the library.

Since I live thouand of miles away I wish you had sale option where i could buy online and get shipped.
That’s a good idea. I’ve toyed with putting up a separate page to list books etc for sale. If I knew it would be a benefit to many I would gladly put the time and effort into doing it!
