Six Flags Read To Succeed program has changed for this year. Homeschool families within a radius of 250 miles of a Six Flags park can sign up to participate this year. There are two options open to homeschools: 1) You may sign up on your own as an individual homeschool. 2) You may sign up as part of the Southwest Wisconsin Community of Homeschools group.
For many, submitting the registration information online as an individual homeschool will work out as the best option. For any others, we will still be coordinating the group submission. You will need to contact the coordinator right away if you want to be part of the group submission.
All registrations (individual or group) must be done online at the Discovery Education Read To Succeed website before January 25th in order to participate in the program.
Read to Succeed is a free educational program sponsored by Six Flags to inspire kids in grades K through 6 to engage in recreational reading.
Students who complete six hours of recreational, nonschool-related reading are eligible to earn a free admission ticket to a participating Six Flags theme park.
Parent/Teachers whose homeschool students participate and complete the program are also eligible to earn a free ticket.
The program runs from January 1st to March 4th, 2011.
You must be registered before January 25th to participate.
Contact the coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org for details or to register your homeschool students for the program.
