Public Events: Fort McCoy and Genoa


Saturday, May 21, 2011,  9 AM – 1PM

Ages 6 years to 12 years.
Fishing poles available as needed.
Lunch will be provided.

Registration starts at 8:45 am
Fishing Clinic from 9 – 10 am: Children will rotate between three stations, covering Fish Cleaning, Fish Health, FHC Wetlands, and Jig Making.

Recreational Fishing Session from 10 am to noon at Hatchery Pond 5.
Children must attend the Fishing Clinic in the morning to attend the Fishing Session.

This free annual event is provided by the Genoa National Fish Hatchery in cooperation with the Friends of the Upper Mississippi River Fishery Stations and the LaCrosse National Wildlife and Fishery Conservation Office.
