This year Living Waters Bible Camp will have Dr. Steve Austin, an internationally known geologist, as a keynote speaker for their Creation Conference on October 14-15, 2011. He will be speaking on his study of Mt. St. Helens as well as the effects of a Global Flood. Living Waters is thrilled to have Dr. Austin coming all the way to Wisconsin for this program, which has something to offer the whole family.
Dr. Steve Austin is a field research geologist whose adventures
have taken him into the crater of Mount St. Helens volcano,
glaciers of Alaska, through the entire Grand Canyon and high Sierra, into the
world’s deepest coal mines, SCUBA onto the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, backcountry of Korea, barren plateaus of southern Argentina, and remote desert areas of Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Austin’s third published book, “Footprints in the Ash: The Explosive Story of Mount St. Helens,” confronts earth-age arguments with observable facts (and photographs) from the 1980 volcanic eruption; showing evidence that geological events can create changes that many think can only happen in millions of years.
You may attend both Friday and Saturday – or just Saturday — for as little as $20 per person. Lodging and meals included.
