Classical Concert Features Homeschooled Musicians

The Quintessence Quartet, composed of several homeschooled musicians, is presenting their second
Classical Community Concert
 Valentines Day – Tuesday February 14th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
at the Trinity United Methodist Church
400 E. Seminary St.,  Richland Center, WI.
The musicians performing play an advanced classical repertoire, including string quartet music, as well as solo pieces for string instruments and piano.
The concert will last approximately 1 hour, and younger children are invited to attend with their families.
This will be a benefit concert, to help in raising funds for Daniel Ray’s July 2012 tour to Europe with the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra. (Daniel is the 1st violinist in the Quintessence Quartet.)

Under the baton of conductor Jim Smith, the Youth Orchestra (below) of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras will go on tour to perform in Eastern Central Europe from July 7-17 in 2012.

On February 7th, Ron Fruit will be interviewing Daniel Ray about the concert on WRCO’s morning show. The Morning Show runs for an hour, beginning at 9 am, and the interview will be sometime around 9:30am. Tune in to WRCO at FM 100.9 or AM 1450 and learn more about the concert and the Quintessence Quartet.
