There is so much going on that I should post on a more regular basis, but I don’t want to load up everyone’s inbox every day.  This little communiqué is an attempt to aggregate some happenings and be able to archive for later use. Hope you like it. Let me know what you think!

2. Shakespeare On The Edge Presents Macbeth

The Tragedy of Macbeth
Saturday, August 18, 2012. 7pm until 10pm
at the Piazza W5549 Center Rd in Monroe, WI
Performed by Shakespeare on the Edge’s “The Eclectic Rogues”.

All are welcome.
Admission is free/donation.

Shakespeare on the Edge is a group that promotes the arts and challenges participants through the works of William Shakespeare.  The Eclectic Rogues is a group of 15 youth, ages 7-18, that have spent their summer rehearsing.

The Piazza is the foundation of an old barn on a former farm.  The owners of this private property graciously let us use their space to perform.  It is a beautiful outdoor setting lit by lantern.  Weather changes and mosquitoes are always a possibility, please plan accordingly. (And bring a chair if you can.)

3. Club and Group News

  • Cognito Speech Club- Classes start September 6th in Hillsboro. Picnic August 23rd at 5:30pm (Click Cognito Speech 2012-13 for more information.)
  • Tri-County Athletics – Girls Volleyball starting soon. Boys and Girls Basketball Season starts November 1st. New Gym cooperative venture with Cornerstone Christian Academy.  Pretty exciting stuff happening!
  • Viroqua email loop has dissolved. Members should request an invitation to La Crosse Homeschool Connection.  Contact  to be directed to the Coordinator for an invitation.
  • CHAT is a new Homeschool Co-Op starting in Tomah. It stands for Christian Homeschoolers Around Tomah. They’re having a meet and greet next Thursday August 23rd at 9:30am.

So, now I when I find handy tips or website links, I “Pin” them on Pinterest  or “Like” them on Facebook .
