KVR Winter Festival 2014
Warmer temps (in the 30’s!) predicted for this weekend mean great weather for getting outside to enjoy winter at the annual Winter Festival at Kickapoo Valley Reserve on Saturday.
Activities are subject to change due to weather conditions. Most activities are free of charge.
Exhibits in the Visitor Center open at 8 am. Presentations and activities go throughout the day in various locations. Check the schedule here for specifics.

Ice Cave Guided Hike (10:30am-noon)
Chili & Bread Contest – with samples
Children’s Stories & Craft for 3-6 yrs with parent (12:30-1:30pm)
Kids Animal Signs Hike(1:30 – 2:30 PM)
Mutt Sled Ride (2:30pm)
Dinner & Barn Dance sponsored by Driftless Folk School. $2-$15/person. (4-7pm) at La Farge Communty Center
Candlelight Hike/Ski and Winter Astronomy (5-9pm) at Wildcat Mountain State Park
