Books and Speakers and Prizes. Oh My!

By now, hopefully you have heard about the Home Educators Cooperative 2014 Book Fair that’s happening this Friday, May 9th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the G.Y.M. in Viroqua.

But did you know that there is more going on than just a used book sale?

Here’s a few highlights…

This year, they have Welcome Bags  for everyone (courtesy of Village Market) which contain goodies from: Math Essentials, Notgrass Company, American School of Correspondence, Classical Scholar – and a special gift coupon from The Old Schoolhouse.

You can attend the Workshop sessions and enter to Win a Special Prize.
5:00 pm Homeschool Q and A – A panel of experienced homeschool moms will answer your questions.
5:45 pm Are Your Cleaning/Beauty Products Dangerous? – Heidi Hein, Nature’s Scent Body Care will talk about ingredients in products and show how you can make healthy changes in your home.
6:30 pm Eat Naturally, Eat Healthy – Rebecca Felton, Earth Hands Therapies will show how herbs,  raw food, juicing and smoothies can start you on a journey to better health.

You can tour around more than 35 Sales Tables and chat with exhibitors. Many are homeschool parents who have experience with the various books and curriculum that they have for sale.

You can look over the Resource Information Table for Samples, Catalogs, Brochures, Special Offers and more!
