Connect with local farmers and stock up for your holiday meals and gifts at the Monroe Holiday Farmers’ Market on Sunday, November 23 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Held at Grace Lutheran Church just west of the Square, this family-friendly market showcases the growing number of area farmers championing sustainable and organic agriculture and connecting the community with locally grown food. Free and open to the public, the Monroe Holiday Farmers’ Market will take place in conjunction with the monthly Loaves and Fishes Community Meal, which will be providing a free turkey supper from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, which market attendees are warmly invited to attend.

The market will offer a range of local products just in time for your Thanksgiving meal, including turkeys, cheese, cabbage, leeks, potatoes, pumpkin, winter squash, lettuce and more (see below for full vendor list)! Farm-raised gifts will also be available to get an early start on your holiday shopping, including goat’s milk soap, baked goods, pickles and the Farmstead Chef cookbook by local authors Lisa Kivirist & John Ivanko. Free harvest basket givewaways with a variety of culinary and garden inspired treats plus a Lego Build & Play Area for the kids. 

Free and open to the public, including the Loaves and Fishes Community Meal.
