KHC Presents “The Court Jester” 3/24-3/26

The Court Jester, an outrageous comedy, with singing, dancing, jousting, and sword fights will be presented on stage in Viroqua March 24-26, 2017.

“This is the story of how the destiny of a nation was changed by a birthmark. A royal birthmark on the royal posterior of a royal infant child. In a tale as old as time….the rightful heir to the throne had survived and is being cared for by a group in the forest. A group led by an elusive outlaw known only as the Black Fox.”

Plot we got. Quite a lot.

King Roderick has usurped the throne of England and the rightful heir, an infant with the royal purple pimpernel birthmark is being hidden by rebel forces in the forest. cover picture

Proving that the brightest heroes aren’t always the best for the job, an ex-carnival entertainer becomes jester to the king in order to infiltrate the court and put the right posterior back on the throne.

“A jester’s chief employment is to kill himself for your enjoyment. And a jester unemployed is nobody’s fool.”
