Tri-State Homeschool Cross Country – Platteville
TRI-STATE FLYING FLAMINGOS will begin running in July.
Contact COACH JOHN MIRTH @ mirth@uwplatt.eduJohn Mirth

Practices are twice a week beginning in August.
The team is open to students of high school and middle school age and competes against area high schools. Meets begin at the end of August and go through the middle of October. Last year we also competed in the first annual Wisconsin state cross country meet for homeschool teams. Our team was the winner of that state meet (7 teams competing) and we hope to defend the title this year.

The purpose of the team is to encourage kids to develop a physically active lifestyle and to provide an opportunity to participate in a team sport at the high school and middle school levels. The sport is both fun and challenging with many life lessons related to the rewards of discipline and perseverance.

  1. I would like to get on the LaCrosse group – how do I get an invite? I am on the last year of schooling but my daughter, Shawna , is just starting out & is wanting to get in touch with other home school families. She no longer has Internet so I will need to get information to her.
