Each year, Smithsonian Magazine partners with museums across the country to present Museum Day Live, where you can visit participating venues for free. You must have a ticket, which you can download from the Smithsonian website. Only one ticket may be downloaded per household, and each ticket can be used for two people (all other accompanying people from the same household are charged regular price). There are many participating museums across the country, but watch the listings because some of them are free everyday. Visit the FAQ page for more info.

What are LAPBOOKS?
The Federal Reserve’s online tools offered on their website provide a wealth of information (pun intended) in the areas of economics, banking, and financial services.
- Federal Reserve Education Resources include publications, videos, online learning, and links economic education web sites.
- Fed 101 is an interactive site that provides an overview of the history and organization of the Federal Reserve System, monetary policy and federal regulations.
- Personal Financial Education includes information on topics such as consumer banking, consumer protection, homes and mortgages, interest rates, loans, and credit.
- Teacher Resources, provides a search tool to allow teachers to locate Federal Reserve System education materials that meet national education standards for incorporation in their lesson plans. The resources on the site include comic books, brochures, teaching guides, magazines and newsletters on a variety of financial education topics.
The US Currency Education Program has educational tools and resources that can be downloaded for free.
