Quote of the Week: ” Pride slays thanksgiving, but an humble mind is the soil out of which thanks naturally grow. A proud man is seldom a grateful man, for he never thinks he gets as much as he deserves.” ~Henry Ward Beecher

1. Thanksgiving Free Bible Study and Free E Book

2. Social Dance Class (swing & waltz primarily) – Sort of a continuation of last year’s classes, but if you missed out – you can still get in join in!  Class will be held on December 1st from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. This will be at the same place as the Formal Dance (which is a separate event.) Because we want to make sure there are even numbers of boys and girls you’ll need to get in touch with Crista  right away. This is by reservation only $5 prepaid.

And 30 minutes later, the dance starts…

3.  December Formal Dance Gays Mills old Community Center, 8 pm, Dec. 1st.  $8  at the door, ages 13- 20ish. Dress code standards as previous dances. This event is formal. Girls: dresses to shin or floor length- no pants at this one. For inexpensive & beautiful dresses try Bonnie’s in Viroqua (we have gotten dresses there on the sale rack for $5 – beautiful formal dresses, that are normally $150 – $400 – seriously $5). Also the 2nd hand stores often have beautiful dresses for under $20! Guys: dress pants, button up shirt and tie.
